Adventure is at the core of scouting. Through adventure we challenge individuals so that they learn and experience new things that will enrich their lives and teach them skills for life.
Everyone’s welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability – there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them. And we’ll help them find it.
Sign up to help your child discover their ‘thing’: from abseiling to coding to performance art and everything in between. Fill out the form on the Contact Us page and someone will be in touch soon.
Our Hut is located in Clapperbrook Lane allotments, which can be found using the map, QR Code or what 3 words ///option.wedge.caked

New to Scouting? We’re very excited to see you. Watch the film below to find out more.
History would have you believe that adventure lies only in epic journeys and mighty sacrifices, but we disagree. Because, for scouts, real adventure doesn’t have to be showy. It doesn’t have to gloat. It doesn’t have to boast. Instead, more often than not, real adventure starts small and thinks big. It happens slowly but surely. Step by step and brick by brick.
Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing. But we also get to hang out with our friends every week – having fun, playing games, working in a team and taking on new challenges
Along the way there is great fun to be had – and badges to earn. Scouting uses badges to recognise a wide range of interests and skills and, more often than not, the badges reflect the effort a young person has put in – rather than what has been achieved.
